Our story
Nela was conceptualised by leading chefs Hari Shetty and Ori Geller, and founded in partnership with British entrepreneur, Gilad Hayeem, in 2021.
Nela means ‘pure’. Pure from the gastronomy to the carefully hand-crafted space and materials to the connection between people, culture, and traditions.

Hari and Ori bring two decades of excellence at a selection of the world’s best restaurants, including Nobu, The Duchess, and Mr. Porter, to Nela.
The first Nela restaurant opened at The Valley in Zuidas, Amsterdam in September 2022. Nela Ibiza will be the restaurant’s first outpost outside of Amsterdam, opening in May 2025 as a seasonal pop up. Nela London will launch later in 2025 at The Whiteley in Bayswater.

Our menu reflects honest, seasonal ingredients that come to life through fire and modern cooking techniques.
Accompanying the menu is an extensive wine list with unique offerings from across the world, and a line up of classic and innovative cocktails.
